Daniel D. (“Danny”) Nelson began working in the financial services industry in 1986. Danny formed Nelson Financial Group with the intent to focus on the employee benefits market. For more than 30 years, Danny has acquired extensive knowledge and experience in the financial services arena. He also formed Nelson Financial Services and Nelson Sports Division to provide financial guidance for all individuals. He recently transitioned responsibilities to his associates and no longer acts in a sales capacity.

Dan has been working in the financial services and advisory business since 1992. He focuses on the areas of fee-based wealth management and estate planning strategies for clients across the country. He strives to deliver confidence and a sense of clarity regarding his clients planning. Dan is an avid reader and tries to stay current with the ever-changing financial services industry.
Dan earned a Bachelor of Arts from Bethel University in Minnesota. Above all else, Dan enjoys spending time with his family, including his wife, Gretchen, five sons, two daughters, and many grandchildren. Dan is a member of Kingdom Advisors* (a national coalition of Christian advisors). He enjoys being the coach of his client’s finances and helping clients with complex financial issues. Many times that involves his relationships with outside professionals, such as attorneys, CPA’s, and real estate professionals.

Originally from New York, Paul earned his Bachelor of Science from Arizona State University and has finished advanced asset allocation classes at Harvard University. He has called Phoenix home for 35 years and shares his life with his wife Liz and their three kids, Justin, Wes, and Payton. He enjoys sports, outdoor activities, and the History channel. In addition, he is an active supporter of Alzheimer’s awareness and research.

Rory works with clients in the areas of personal life insurance, estate conservation strategies, and long term care. He joined the organization in 2009 after a brief career in the information technology field, and before long he had earned the company's Rookie of the Year honors and Annuity Champion status for his efforts. He attributes this success to his care and concerns for clients, investing the time needed to understand their specific objectives and presenting them with appropriate strategies.
Rory grew up in Ohio and moved to Arizona in 1991. He received a Bachelor of Science in agricultural business from Arizona State University. He and his wife, Kaprice, are parents to identical twin boys, Henry and Charlie. Rory enjoys traveling, fishing, skiing, auto racing, and spending simple days at home. He and Kaprice are actively involved at Pinnacle Presbyterian Church in North Scottsdale, Arizona.
Rory is an honorary commander of the Luke Air Force Base 56th Fighter Wing. In addition, he is a member of the Fighter Country Partnership, as well as the Phoenix Children’s Hospital Foundation Planned Giving Committee.
Grant joined the Nelson Financial Services team in 2015. He graduated with a Bachelor of Arts from Grand Canyon University in Phoenix with a degree in digital design. His focus remains primarily in helping individuals and families achieve their financial planning, wealth management and retirement objectives. Grant takes a dedicated team approach to the financial planning process and strives to help guide clients through the ever-changing financial markets. Grant holds a life and accident/health producer license in the State of Arizona as well as series 7 and 66 securities registrations.
Grant and his wife, Hannah, reside in Phoenix, Arizona with their two children, Ethan and Elena. In his free time, Grant enjoys playing sports, being active outdoors, and reading up on the latest sports cars.
